Enhancing formula



Actually i'm trying to populate the vendor name based on asset id(input field) as shown below: 1.PNG


for this i've used following formula:

If(Value(DataCardValue17.Text) in AssetVendor.ID,LookUp(AssetVendor,ID = Value(DataCardValue17.Text)).Name,"No Model for Selected ID")


its working fine but it's taking some time to update the value. is there any more enhanced way were we can achieve this

Not sure of your Datasource and column names. But Generally use:

LookUp(Datasource,IDColumn = Value(DataCardValue17.Text),NameColumn)
