Enter Name, Save, then display calculated field

In Powerapps, I want to create a simple screen....

There is a SharePoint field called name...

There is a SharePoint calculated field called welcome..

When a user enters a name in the name field and click the save button, the SharePoint calculated field will display the message.

The name field and calculated field will save in the SharePoint list also.

How can I do this?

Re: Enter Name, Save, then display calculated field

@Anonymous,

In the OnPressed event of the Save button, you could try to set the value of the welcome field using:

WelcomeField.Text = "Hello " & NameField.Text & ", Welcome to our world."

To save back to the SharePoint list you can use Microsoft Flow. I am using Flow to save to my list like this, where SaveTOSPList is my Flow:

SaveToSPList.Run(TextInput2, 1)

So basically your OnPressed event of the Save button would look like this:

WelcomeField.Text = "Hello " & NameField.Text & ", Welcome to our world."; SaveToSPList.Run(TextInput2, 1)

Hope that helps.
