Environment Limit Issue
I am the Environment Admin, owner
I'm experimenting with the newly released updates to the CDS and PowerApps and found a scenario that caught me by surprise.
I have the following Plans:
PowerApps for Office 365
PowerApps Plan 2
PowerApps Plan 2 Trial
Default Environment - Status: Active
Created a new Trial Environment - Status: Active
I deleted my Dev Test Production Environment, now I am unable to create a new Environment?
I've attached the screenshot of the error message.
Am I misunderstanding the Docs on PowerApps Plan 2 stating I can have two Production Environments?
I should be able to delete one Production Environment and then create another Production Environment in it's place or does this mean that once you reach your limit that is it! Regardless if the Environment is deleted or not. It still counts towards the limit.
To my understanding this limit should only apply to Active Environments.
Also when the Trial ends will it automatically convert to Production? or will this error out once again because of the limit issue?
@KCI had the same issue however, because I have a Dynamics 365 Licence I was able to create an additional Production Environment.
I asked the question about the Licensing last week and was informed that Plan 2 enables Users to interact with CDS Data however, I'm confused that all the Form / Dashboard buikding etc is done within the Dynamics Environment if use are using the Model Based Apps. I can;t see how I at moment I'm paying $100+ per Month Per User but, I can reduce this down to $40 Per User.
I am not an admin but see a simliar thing...
PowerApps "Plan" says
PowerApps Plan 2 Trial
Office365 Subscription
Office 365 Enterprise E4
Previously had two production environments... deleted one so I could test out the awesome CDS2.0 - tells me 0 production can be created.
