Environments disappear from admin centre

Environments are disappearing from my PowerApps instance:

* I create a production environment via the PowerApps admin centre (the standard one accessible to makers, not the global admin one).

* It shows up in the Environment drop-down at the top right corner of the screen, near the settings icon.

* It also shows up in the list of Environments from the admin centre. All good so far.

* HOWEVER - after a bit more time (may 30 minutes or more), the Environment DISAPPEARS from both the drop-down list at the top of the screen AND from the Environments list in the admin centre. This is also true for new environments I created a couple of days ago (which didn't have anything in them yet).

* When I ask our global tenant admin to have a look in his tenant admin list, he CAN see the new environments listed even though I can't.

* STRANGELY - if I switch to PowerAutomate, then the new environments DO show up in the drop-down list (but still not in the admin centre).

Please advise what is causing this - a MS bug, a license issue, a permissions issue, a storage limit etc.

We only have 2 other environments, not many apps and don't use Dataverse other than for solutions (we use SQL as our DB).

I just got off a call from Microsoft support, who didn't have a fix, but gave me these steps as a workaround to access an environment which I can see from PowerAutomate, but can't see from PowerApps:

Step 1: Go to flow.microsoft.com

Step 2: In the top right corner of the screen, change the environment to your desired environment (ie the one you are unable to see in make.powerapps.com)

Step 3: On the left-hand side menu, first click on 'Data' and then on 'Tables'

Step 4: This takes you back to make.powerapps.com (because that is where anything Dataverse is being managed) and if you look at the environment, you will be in the correct environment.

Weird...

Hi Qi,

Microsoft support escalated this bug to the engineering team and they confirmed it was a problem in Microsoft's servers. They fixed the problem for me a couple of days later.

Hi @MarrinerDev,

I'm glad your problem was solved. If there are still some details worthy of attention, please share them here so that others can learn from them.
Thanks again for the update on this issue.

Hi,

maybe others will find it useful: my canvas apps disappeared from PowerApps center, and the solution form this thread:

Step 1: Go to flow.microsoft.com

Step 2: In the top right corner of the screen, change the environment to your desired environment (ie the one you are unable to see in make.powerapps.com)

Step 3: On the left-hand side menu, first click on 'Data' and then on 'Tables'

worked ! I was redirected back to the PowerApps center and my apps were now visible. Great and weird indeed 🙂
