Error Creating Production Environment

Hello Community,

I am attempting to create a new production environment as outlined here, but when I do, I get the attached error.  Is this a known issue?

EDIT: I should mention that I am in the Plan 2 Trial.

Thank you,

Who can create environments?

Your license determines whether you can create environments.

License Environment creation is allowed
PowerApps P2 √
PowerApps P2 Trial √
PowerApps P1 x
PowerApps P1 Trial x
Dynamics 365 Plans x
Office 365 Plans x
Dynamics 365 Apps and Teams Plans x

Each user can create up to two Trial environments. PowerApps P2 can also create up to two Production environments.

So in your case I believe you should check the user you are connected with and be sure you have max 2 production environments (Once logged in Powerapps there is a dropdown in title bar with available environments, be sure you don't have already 2 there)

Right, @bdodu that is my understanding as well.  I currently have my Developer (Community) (old CDS) environment and 1 Default environment.  In addition, I have created a Trial environment.  Neither of these say "Production" under the "Type" column in

It would seem that the error message would say that I can create "2" production environments, but it is saying "0" production environments, even though I have created none.  Is there something obvious I am overlooking here?

FWIW, I have tried deleting the Trial environment and creating a Production environment, but it results in the same error.

I've created in my tenant another Production environment and it worked without any error.

Also after logged in Powerapps I can see all 3 environments in the list

Check the trial as well

How many environments can I create?

Each user can create up to two Trial environments and two Production environments, depending on their license.

How many databases can I provision?

Each user can provision databases in two Trial environments and two Production environments, depending on their license. The user needs to an Environment Admin in the environment.

Well at least someone can do it. 🙂

I appreciate you taking the time to help out, @bdodu.  I am curious though on what you mean by "check the trial as well"?

FWIW I am indeed the administrator of my domain.

It seems there is a limitation not only for Production but for Trial as well.

Right, that is my understanding as well.  I do have one trial, but as mentioned I did try deleting it and adding a Production environment (in case the "two" maximum meant two totalling of either type), and I still ran into the same error that is attached in the original message.

Seems like perhaps I have run into a bug?
