Error Message: The gateway is either offline or could not be reached.

Hi all PowerApps experts,

One of my co-workers received this error message, but I didn't. I want to know how to troublehsoot the error. Is there log file I can get to determine if it's my data source issue or Microsoft's? Thanks.

Hi @mochabits,

Please try the following ways:

  1. Upgrade the On-Premise gateway to the latest version.
  2. Open the gateway to check the status under powerapps.com>Data>Gateways, is it still Live?
  3. Try to restart the gateway in the Service Settings if it is stopped.
  4. Try to uninstall gateway then restart computer, install the latest version.

Please try the above. If you are still having the issue, please feel free post back.

Best regards,

Mabel

Hi @v-yamao-msft ,

                              Thanks 🙂

This kind of issues have been there for years. I don't know how to fix it except restart/re-login. But I wonder if we can have a way to let it up and running for years without any interruptions?
