Error opening file: Cannot read property 'connectionInstanceId' of null

A project that I had recently edit can no longer be opened.  Now getting an error opening file message that states "Cannot read property 'connectionInstanceId' of null"

Can someone please help?

Hey any update on this? I can not open any apps in my browser both in dynamics 365, and in powerapps online. I can open these apps in my powerapps IDE. (the desktop application)

Could you please send us the URL which fails to open the app? Url you see in the address bar of the browser where you see this error message. Looks like that url might not be correctly generated.

You know it only happens in chrome, it works for me in IE and edge. Perhaps my cached powerapps file is corrupt?!

Could you try Chrome in incognito mode?

@Brione possible explanation for the issue in Chrome is if you have the setting "Block third-party cookies" enabled. Here's how to check.

Go to Chrome's settings --> Advanced --> Content settings --> Cookies

Make sure that "Block third-party cookies" is not selected.

I think this is related to an update in a control. The app crashes when it gets to a certain screen.
