Error opening file


Hi folks.  This is really frustrating.  I've followed the above steps to the letter, but when I get to the section "Configure the app to use the SharePoint list", it states to click on "Open app" after the successful import.  When I do this, I just get an error: "Error opening file.  Something went wrong while opening your app.".  I've tried changing authoring versions, but I cannot seem to get it to work.


When I'm at, I can open the app, but when I'm at I cannot.  No matter what I try, I can't seem to be able to edit my app any more.


Any help would be greatly appreciated.
