Error "Invalid JWT token. The token is expired"


I have simple app which is taking data from sharepoint list and shows in gallery. The photos on sharepoint list is stored on one drive and link copied to the list.

Sometimes users get error, when connecting to  this app: You don't have permisions to view this data. Invalid JWT token. The token is expired.


It is enough to change from wireless to mobile data  on a phone and it starts working again. Where could be a problem, where shall I search for solution?

Based on my research, the error message " Invalid JWT token. The token is expired." should mean the access token for the connection used under this App opening session has expired.


JWT should mean the JSON Web Token, which could be refreshed by opening a new Browser session.

I think the network switching under the Mobile client triggers the App to start a new session, which then update the token.


In addition to the token used within the App, please also verify the SharePoint side.

There would be same error message popped out when there are problems with SharePoint Add-ins.


You might need to generate a fiddler trace for investigation, which then is recommended to create a support ticket for further assistance.

I dont know how to fix it, but

me helped closing powerapps application.

run again and no error


(it seems new token requested, so new token received)

I think this is a Bug. Appears everyday on opening app in a webplayer. Please we need some solution about that.
