Error when downloading PDF from a canvas app connected to CDS
I have a flow that creates a PDF document and attaches to a note related to a custom entity. I am able to download and view the PDF perfectly fine from within the model-driven app. However, in the canvas app, I get this error:
To eliminate the possibility of this being an issue with PDFs, I tested it out with another PDF that wasn't generated through the Flow and that works fine. I read a few posts here that spoke about there being a space in the file name or file size being too big as possible reasons but I eliminated all those and still got issues.
If you want me to share the Flow steps, I can but there is nothing fancy that is being done. Its pretty straightforward. That being said, it could be something that is not getting set correctly or not getting set at all (a PDF property may be?). Not sure what the issue is. I am using Edge.
If I should post this to the Power Automate community, please let me know.
One quick update: Once I download the PDF (generated from Flow) and then reattach it, I am able to download it from the canvas app. So weird. Not sure if this adds any value but wanted to share it anyway.
