Expandable dropdown

Hello,
I have a dropdown with item = Office365Users.SearchUserV2({searchTerm:inp_OfficeUsers_Title.Text}).value
Where the inp_OfficeUsers_Title.Text is a text input field.

Is it possible to auto-expand the dropdown and show the matching values?

Try using a combo box with searching enabled and then the picker will show the values that match search input. Here is an example on how to set it up.

We'll call this combo box "cmbPeoplePicker" and here are the properties:

  • Items: If(IsBlank(cmbPeoplePicker.SearchText), Blank(), Office365Users.SearchUser({searchTerm:cmbPeoplePicker.SearchText,top:20}))
  • Fields: Edit > Single layout
  • Allow Multiple Sections: false
  • Allow Searching: true
  • Display Fields: ["DisplayName"]
  • Search Fields: ["DisplayName"]
  • InputTextPlaceholder: "Type a name to search for a user"
