Export function

Hello,

When I try to use the export control in PowerApps, I get a warning, that my app "uses features that don’t work on a browser. To use it fully, install Power Apps Studio", but when I click "Get Power Apps Studio", I get this error:

"Sorry, there's been a disconnect

We can't find the page you're looking for. Please verify the link and try again."

Has Power Apps Studio been decommissioned? Are the features that were only working in that going to be made available in browsers?

Kind regards,
Gergely Banyay

Hi @gergoe ,

Please refer to this thread: https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Building-Power-Apps/Isn-t-quot-Studio-quot-Deprecated/m-p/473689... .

I have submitted the "Get Power Apps Studio" link issue to Microsoft, they have confirmed it and it will be fixed in the next update.

The PowerApps Studio for Windows is not deprecated, it is still available to download from the Windows Store, as @timl said.

However, there are currently no plans to make 'Export' feature available in browsers. If you want this feature, please submit an idea to PowerApps Ideas Forum.

Hello,

Yes, I know that, but it seems that Power Apps Studio has been decommissioned, and there is no other way left to use the export control.

Kind regards,

Hi Gergely,

To give some background, when PowerApps was first released, we could use the Windows version of PowerApps Studio to author and to play apps.

The app authoring features have now been discontinued and there is no possibility to edit and create apps. However, the app playing capabilities are still there, and there is still support for the export feature.

I suspect the download link is out of date, so the best way to download it is through the Microsoft Store. If you search for "Power Apps" (with a space), you should find it there.
