Feed Dropdrown list from a collection

Hello everyone,

I have created a collection that filters the items from a sharepoint list at the OnStart of the App based on the user information. Now, I want to add some dropdown lists in which the user will be able to see only the items that have been filtered in the collection.

On the Items field of the Dropdown I simply tried to put the name of the collection, but this doesn't seem to work.

Does anyone know how to do this?

Thanks in advance!

Can you show the formula that filtered the Sharepoint list into a collection. Also what you used on the dropdown item.

The original list (called Local Applications) contains all the access request to several applications. I want the user to be able to only see in the dropdown list the applications that he owns/is an approver of.

The formula to create the collection OnStart is:

ClearCollect(Apps, Distinct('Local Applications', 'App Owner'.Email Or 'App Approver'.Email = User().Email))

Then, in the Items field of the DropDown I simply entered  Apps, hoping this will allow me to only see the apps that are in the collection. This didn't work.

Have you check whether the Collection Apps has values. Goto File-Collections.

 On the Dropdown Items put: Apps.Results

Same thing. I don't get any errors or warnings, but the dropdown doesn't show anything. And just in case, my user is listed as Owner and Approver of some applications, so I should be able to see something.

Can you show a sample or Structure of your table Local Applications
