Fill form, Required field, if not filled, must not allowed to continue to next screen

Good day,

I am making an travel request form within powerapps with sharepoint as it's data source, i have most of the fields Required for filling. Now when a user would skip a field, the user is able to continue too the next screen.

What i would like is that the user will not be allowed to continue to the next screen if the Required field is empty.

You will have to excuse me for my (probably) beginners question, i am new to the Power Platform.

Thank you in advance for your time and attention.

Regards,

You can control the visibility of whatever button they are using to get to the next page.

Here I have a tick icon used to submit that only shows when all fields are filled.

Code would be along the lines of

If(IsBlank(Nameoffield.Text/Value),false,true)

You can add more fileds using &&

Mine is as below

If(!IsBlank(DataCardValue6.Text)&&!IsBlank(DataCardValue8.Selected.Value)&&!IsBlank(DataCardValue9.Selected.Value)&&!IsBlank(DataCardValue7.Text),true,false)

Thank you PPSA i will try it out immediately and thanks for the quick reaction. i will update you with the result.

quick question,

Where do i put this code, is this button and then onselect or visible?

However the end user navigates to the next screen.

You may have a button or an icon?

The visible property of that.

Good! Congrats, yes the true, false order depends on whether you use IsBlank or !Isblank.

Ah ok thanks again, that's good to know 😉
