Re: Filter Gallery based of a column value

@ramielm

SortByColumns(Filter(testing,StartsWith(Refrence,txtSearchField.Text) && (Status.Value="one")),"Title",Ascending)

Above formula is working at my end, you just needs to change the DSN and fields.

Re: Filter Gallery based of a column value

Try something like this:

Filter(SPList, Status = "Completed")

Or Status.Result or Status.Value

Let me know if it doesnt work.

Completed is still included in the gallery.

Re: Filter Gallery based of a column value

This should be the Items property of the gallery?

Re: Filter Gallery based of a column value

Hi @ramielm ,

Do you want to filter your Gallery Items where Status column is not equal to "Completed"?

I have made a test on my side, please consider take a try with the following workaround:

Set the Items property of the Gallery to following:

Filter('YourSPList', Status.Value <> "Completed")

Please consider take a try with above solution, check if the issue is solved.

Re: Filter Gallery based of a column value

Hi @ramielm ,

Could you please share a bit more about the "Status" column in your SP List? Is it a Text type column or Choice type column?

Could you please share a bit more about your data source? Is it a SP List or a CDS Entity?

1. If the "Status" column is a Text type column in your SP List, please set the Items property of the Gallery to following:

Filter('YourSPList', Status <> "Completed")

or

Filter('YourSPList', Not(Status = "Completed"))

2. If the Status column is a Option Set type column in your CDS Entity, please consider modify above filter formula as below:

Filter('CDS Entity', Not(Status = [@OptionSetName].Completed)) // OptionSetName represents the Option Set your "Status" column related to within your CDS Entity

or

Filter('CDS Entity', Status <> [@OptionSetName].Completed)

If the OptionSetName the "Status" column related to is "Status", please modify above formula as below:

Filter('CDS Entity', Not(Status = [@Status].Completed))
Filter('CDS Entity', Status <> [@Status].Completed)

Please consider take a try with above solution, check if the issue is solved.

Re: Filter Gallery based of a column value

The List is named "Maintenance Request"

The column name is "Status" and type is "Choice"

Gallery should only show entry/records that status is not equal to "Completed"

Main Gallery.PNGBrowseGallery1.PNGSharepoint List - Column name is Status and Column Type is Choice.PNG
