Filter Gallery by 2 steps connected tables

Hi fellow builders,

I would like to filter a Gallery of datasource DelistingActions on a ComboBox of datasource ActionHolders and Field ActionHolder.

DelistingActions

DelistingID | ActionID (Lookup)

Actions

ActionID | ActionHolder (Lookup)

ActionHolders

ActionHolder | Email1

Anyone who knows how to do this?

KR,

Lars

Hi @Lars1990,

Do you want to filter the Gallery(DelistingActions) based on Combo Box(ActionHolders)?

Could you please tell me that how you set the Items property of the Combo Box?

I have a test on my side, pleas take a try as below.

Set the ComboBox Items as below:

ActionHolders.ActionHolder

Set the Gallery Items property as below:

Filter(
    DelistingActions,
    ActionID.Value = LookUp(
        Actions,
        ActionHolder.Value = ComboBox4.Selected.ActionHolder
    ).ActionID
)
Best Regards,
Qi

@Lars1990

You have to create a Collection from your datasource to remove the delegation warning

Hi, @Lars1990

DO you wanna put two filters in one gallery and those fileds are LookUp? That's it?

I want to filter the gallery on the combobox like below. Where the gallery represents the DelistingActions Table and the Combobox the ActionHolders table.

Try this:

LookUp(
            DelistingActions ,
            ActionHolders = dropdownname.Selected.CUSTOMER
        ).thefieldyouwant
)

Thanks!! It does work, however I do get a delegation warning. As long as this is for the actionholders table it is no problem since it wil never contain more then 20 or so items.
