Filter Gallery by Multiple Sharepoint Columns

I have a fairly complex gallery filter I'm trying to implement. Can anyone give me insights?

  • PowerApp built from Sharepoint custom list
  • Employees must submit at least 2 tasks / month
  • Employees must submit 13 tasks / half (6 month period)
  • When a record is submitted, the task number completed becomes part of the record
  • Gallery filter logic I'm looking for:
    • show all tasks submitted for each employeeID this month
    • show all tasks submitted for each employeeID this half (6 month period)

Key Sharepoint columns:

  • employeeID
  • year (calculated Sharepoint column =TEXT(DATE "yyyy"))
  • month (calculated Sharepoint column =TEXT(DATE "mm"))
  • half(calculated Sharepoint column that takes months 01-06 and assigns them to half "1", else half "2")

Current Gallery Query:

  • Filter(TI_Evaluation_Tool_Results,rdm_cost_center=input_searchbox.Text)

I actually don't want a searchbox. I need the Gallery to filter the Sharepoint list by employeeID with those who have completed the least # of tasks on top (out of compliance).

Any leads on functions I should explore? I'm kind of wrapped up with Search vs. Filter vs. Lookup.

Thank you

Re: Filter Gallery by Multiple Sharepoint Columns

Hi @ericonline,

I saw in your screenshot that you have already created the gallery and there are some rectangles inside. Is this gallery working for now? What are the controls that you are using in this gallery? Would you please share more detailed configuration of your SharePoint column types and perhaps a screenshot of the list so that I could try to reproduce your issue?

Re: Filter Gallery by Multiple Sharepoint Columns

Hello v-monli-msft,

Here is the full rundown of what I'm attempting. All Sharepoint columns are screenshot in that post. @Paul_C has been a great help so far. I'm still stuck on the final LookUp query. If you could peek at the issue, that would be wonderful.

Thank you
