Filter Planner tasks gallery by assigned user dropdown

We have a list of tasks, and I'd like to have a dropdown with a list of the usernames that have tasks assigned to them, in order that we can filter to see tasks assigned to each user. Is this possible?

Thanks again for your help. This formula for the dropdown returns the entire active directory (which is very sizable, making that option unworkable)... whereas my goal is to have my dropdown only show names which have tasks assigned in the specified plan. I'm beginning to wonder if this is possible, given the limitations of the planner API.

Yeah I think you will have to

  1. Loop through all the tasks
  2. Get the assigned users for each task
  3. Collect them and get only the distinct ones.

I believe you will need nested forAlls and then you can collect them in a collection and then get the distinct ones.

ForAll(Planner.TaskListsV3("..."), ForAll(_assignments, Collect(userCollection, Office365Users.UserProfileV2(userId).displayName)); ClearCollect(AssignedUsers, Distinct(userCollection, userId)); Clear(userCollection);

You can try this formula on the screen Onvisible property and then for the drop down use AssignedUsers.Result.userId as items property.

Hope this works

Hmm... I tried the formula but it threw a bunch of "invalid arguments" errors.

ForAll(Planner.TaskListsV3("..."), ForAll(_assignments, Collect(userCollection, Office365Users.UserProfileV2(userId).displayName))); ClearCollect(AssignedUsers, Distinct(userCollection, userId)); Clear(userCollection);

I was missing the closing parenthesis.
