Filter PowerBI Tile (Report) Using Powerapps Filters

Hello All,

I need a help regarding filtering "PowerBI" report in "Powerapps" using powerapps filters.

I have placed a PowerBI report tile in Powerapps screen. Please check the attached screenshot. This screen has some powerapps filters created on top and I want to pass these filters into power BI report as a parameter.

I am not sure if it is feasible and what are the steps to do this.

Thank you,

Ravi Desai

Hi @ravidesai thank you for posting this question in the community. Please see the below response from our Community Support Team:

Currently Power BI integration with PowerApps could be achieved by the following ways:

1. PowerApps Custom Visual in Power BI Services,

This allows Power BI Service to filter the result showing in PowerApps Custom Visual, and within the custom visual, we can do some customizations for Data CURD, for more information, see:

PowerApps custom visual in Power BI

2. Power BI Tile control in PowerApps

This allows PowerApps to show the Power BI Visuals from the Power BI Service, which is similar to Power BI Embedding,

Power BI Tile control in PowerApps

Both of the option above will not allow the Updated data from PowerApps to be shown directly through Power BI.

It will need some time for the data to be refreshed.
