Hi everyone, I'm trying to create a PowerApp for what will be a massively used list (the present one is nearly at 70k entries).
I'd like to create a detail screen that will show the user's entries for today. A typical user will not have over 5k entries per day, but the list itself will very quickly exceed the limit.
At present I can do it within the PowerApp with two separate codes, however I am aware that this is not going to be robust long term.
Additionally, there is no guarantee that the users will use the PowerApp so ideally it needs to pick up on entries both submitted via the PA and also submitted directly into the list.
How can I make a browse gallery/detail screen that will survive the large amount of information?
Thank you for any advice you can offer!
I think what you need is a View that filters by date so you only get records for "today". What is your data source? SharePoint list?
You will run into delegation issues when working with date columns
Check my vblog on how to avoid this with relation to the date column
