Filter formula help

Hello,

I have a Gallery control that I want to filter a selected client's workouts on a screen.  Here's the way the app works:

- Search for client name (Text input), click Search icon which takes user to the next step

- Presented with Gallery 2 list of names, select a name, navigate to next step

- Go to (filter) that client's list of workouts

Two Data Sources = Client Profile SharePoint List, Client Name from Client Profile is a lookup column on Client Workout SharePoint List

Hi @trishmalloy ,

In screen2, set below formula in the Items property of the gallery:

Filter('Client Profile SharePoint List', StartsWith(Name, TextSearchBox1.Text))

In screen3, set below formula in the Items property of the gallery:

Filter('Client Workout SharePoint List', Name.Value=TextSearchBox1.Text)

Regards,

Mona

Set the items property of your Client Workout gallery to something like this:
Filter('Client Workout', 'Client Name' = 'Client Profile Gallery'.Selected.Client Name)

Let me know if this doesn't work.

@v-monli-msft - Thank you so much!  I think this is going to work out well!  I really appreciate the help creating this app.

@v-monli-msft - This didn't end up working.  I think this would require the trainer to type in the full person's name in the search box for that person's workouts to show up.  They definitely won't want to do this.  Can you give me another idea?
