Filter gallery by user or login

Hi,

I'm having trouble filtering gallery by login.

This is what my SharePoint list look like. (All of the columns type are single line of text)

EmployeeID    Password            Name         Email2

12345             123232323232    Mary          12345@email.com

This is my code,

Filter(REPORT3,Email2.Email=varUserEmail.Email)

The problem is that when I type .Email there's no dropdown list to choose, more like manually key-in and powerapps cannot detect it as an email.

The error message;

Please help and thank you in advance!

Hi,

Did you try to not use the .Email ?

Filter(REPORT3,Email2=varUserEmail)

Don't know what you have under varUserEmail but you can also check the email by:

Filter(REPORT3,Email2=User().Email)
