Filter gallery with multiple checkboxes

I am new in powerapps and trying to implement some logic but not able to find better solution for this.

My problem is I have 8 different checkbox and one gallery control on my powerapp screen and I want to filter my gallery control according to checked check boxes.

e.g.  customer 1: abc

        customer 2: abc,pqrs

        customer 3: def, ghi

If I select only one checkbox (that means checkbox1.Text=abc) then gallery should have only abc records and if I select 2 checkboxes (checkbox1.Text=abc and checkbox2.Text=pqrs), then the gallery would have abc and pqrs data.

Hello,

I have the same problem like you but me it's in a DataBase and I didn't understand why I went to the Microsoft doc but nothing about it I think it's just not possible to do it yet we can only put 1 single condition with 1 checkbox -_-

But if you want you can put a rule that tells you to put a column in invisible when your checkbox is activated

It's another solution 🙂

I had to tackle this exact problem numerous times now.

You have two options really... either use the Switch function to switch between the appropriate filters dependant on what checkboxes are selected.

I detailed that method at the top of here:

https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Expressions-and-Formulas/Filtering-Gallery-with-Multiple-Checkbo...

Or

Stack filters one after another by using the onchange property on each of your checkboxes, every time one is clicked it filters a collection futher. (The problem with this is you need a reset button as you cannot deselect checkboxes to change the filter)

This method is detailed at the end of the same post above.

Hi @SamPhillips@v-xida-msft

Thanks for your support. your solution is good but not enough for my condition. I have 10 checkboxes on screen and it's difficult to write if-else condition for 10 checkboxes with the selection for two or more checkbox at a time.

Sorry @SamPhillips, in my case there is no space of reset button but Thanks for your advice. I will implement it later in any other application.

Hi, @trickytechie @v-xida-msft

I understood your problem well I have exactly the same one as you but I would also like that there are several activated at the same time and that the checkboxes flitre several ms table at the same time

Hi @Ethan0079,

Can you explain more about it?

Look at my post if you can understand: D if you didn't understand it, tell me again
