Filter month in a date field

I have a date field in my SP in the pattern DD/MM/YYYY, I need to filter my gallery only by the month in the pattern Jan, Feb, Mar, May.....

Follow my code

    IsBlank(Dropdown6_5.Selected.Value) || Equipe_DO = Dropdown6_5.Selected.Value;
    IsBlank(Dropdown9_4.Selected.DisplayName) || Nome_Completo_DO = Dropdown9_4.Selected.DisplayName;
    IsBlank(Dropdown5.Selected.Value) || Day_Off = Dropdown5.Selected.Value

Does not work

I corrected it with "mmm" and it still didn't find anything in the filter.
I still believe that the configuration of my Items in the dropdown is wrong.

My filter code.

        _Data: Filter(
            Len(Dropdown6_5.Selected.Value) = 0 || Equipe_DO = Dropdown6_5.Selected.Value;
            Len(Dropdown9_4.Selected.DisplayName) = 0 || Nome_Completo_DO = Dropdown9_4.Selected.DisplayName
        Len(Dropdown5_1.Selected.Value) = 0 || Text(
        ) = Dropdown5_1.Selected.Value;
        Len(Dropdown5.Selected.Value) = 0 || Text(
        ) = Dropdown5.Selected.Value

My dropdown items property code

What value do you receive in a Label on your Form with Text(ThisItem.Day_Off, "mmm")

In my thisitem.day_off; "mmm" I receive the value of 02/02/2024 and in the filter I have values of "Jan"; "Feb"....

Note that in the value 02/02/2024, when I select February in the filter, it should bring this date 02/02/2024.

But it doesn't provide any information.

I'm sorry if I'm not able to correctly explain my difficulty.

@Fioravanti ,

Before we go any further here are your fields Date/Time fields or Text fields in the format "dd/mm/yyyy"

Exactly. In my SP I have a date column in the format dd/mm/yyyy and I bring this value into my text in the gallery.

As per the image, I have the date 02/02/2024.

So far, OK.

In my Dropdown outside the gallery, I have the filter that I would like to work in the "Jan" format; "Feb"; "Sea"....

When selecting February, I would like it to identify that the date 02/02/2024 refers to "Feb".

For this reason I believe that the Dropdown configuration is currently incorrect.

I believe that when you call the dropdown in Feb, you should identify the date 02/02/2024.

I don't know if I managed to explain it in a way that you can understand?

@Fioravanti ,

Sorry to keep repeating myself here, but something is wrong here if the formula

Text(ThisItem.Day_Off, "mmm")

put in a label inside a Form card or a gallery does not produce the abbreviate month "Jan", "Feb" etc. Can you please send a screenshot of your SharePoint field definitions.

I really think I didn't know how to express myself correctly.

I'm not trying to reproduce the month in text format on a label.

and yes, when selecting the month in text format in the dropdown, I want my text field within the gallery to understand that the value I am selecting is the month I want to show in the gallery.

In other words, if I select the month of February in the Dropdown filter, I want my gallery to understand that I am selecting month 2 using the value February

I managed to solve the filter as follows:

In my Dropdown Items

But I need the default value to be empty

@Fioravanti ,

If that is the solution then

Text(ThisItem.Day_Off, "mmm")

put inside a Form or Gallery should produce the equivalent month to match the drop-down value - from your responses, I was suspecting that your field was not actually a date.
If you want the drop-down to be empty, set AllowEmptySelection to true.

Please click Accept as solution if my post helped you solve your issue. This will help others find it more readily. It also closes the item. If the content was useful in other ways, please consider giving it Thumbs Up.
