Filter non null values

Hi All,

I am unable to filter non null values that I am pulling from a SQL table.

The query that I am running is:

ClearCollect(
        offlineviewLocationCollectionUSA,
        Filter(
            '[dbo].[locationConfigTable]',
            CountryCode = "USA" && SubRegionName <> Blank()
        )
    )

If I change the code to retrieve null values

SubRegionName = Blank()

it works fine. However, it does not pull non null values.

I have also tried using

!IsBlank(SubRegionName)

but it gives delegation warning.

Any thoughts on how to overcome this?

Thanks,

AShep

Re: Filter non null values

Hi @AShep ,

That's a little strange...

Please try this formula:

ClearCollect(
        offlineviewLocationCollectionUSA,
        Filter(
            '[dbo].[locationConfigTable]',
            CountryCode = "USA" && SubRegionName=""
        )
    )

The reason why using IsBlank function will lead to delegation warning is that IsBlank function is no-delegation function of SQL. If your record is larger than 2000, I recommend you not use this, which will make your app not perform well.

If your record is smaller than 2000, do not forget to change the non-delagation limit to 2000 to avoid the effect of delegation.delegation.jpg
