Filter second Combo Box choices based on selection in first Combo Box

Hi,

I went through a couple of combo box related threads but couldn't find one close to my current issue or the ones I tried didn't work for me.

I have two choice columns in my SharePoint list, as follows (for example):

AppTable.PNG

So, if I select 'Cherry' in my first combo box, the second combo box will filter with choices including the word 'Cherry', i.e. only 'Cherry Pie' and 'Cherry Smoothie' will be visible to be selected in my second combo box.

I tried the following, but it didn't work:

If("Cherry" in combobox1.selected.value, Filter(datasource,"Cherry","Combo Box 2"), Filter(datasource," ","Combo Box 2"))

Thank you in advance for any help with this.

@shwetachettiar

Put this code in the Items property of ComboBox2.

Filter(
    Choices(your_datasource_name.your_column_name),
    StartsWith(Value, ComboBox1.Selected.Value)
)

Note: I decided to use StartsWith instead of Search because the value from ComboBox1 always appeared at the start of the phrase in ComboBox2.
