Filter sort function

Hello I am trying to to sort my list from Excel Online business.

I had a connection with share point before and this worked. I am having a list and a search box.

Now it doesn't work anymore.

SortByColumns(Search([@Tabelle1_1]; TextSearchBox1.Text; "Key Account"); "Key Account"; If(SortDescending1; Descending; Ascending))

I tried it with the filter function.

Filter([@Tabelle1_1]; StartsWith("Key Account";TextSearchBox1.Text))

Somehow the  If(SortDescending1; Descending; Ascending)) function doesn't work for me.

Thank you!!!

Thank you for all your help!!!!!

This function now works:

Sort(Filter(Tabelle1_1.'Key Account'; StartsWith('Key Account'; TextSearchBox1.Text)); 'Key Account'; Ascending)

but the rest of the app doesn't because it only can find the information from the column 'Key Account'

When I am trying this

Sort(Filter(Tabelle1_1; StartsWith('Key Account'; TextSearchBox1.Text)); 'Key Account'; Ascending)

It doesn't sort or filter anything.

@carla_123 ,

You are using Excel here (not the best data source if you have SharePoint available), however if you have a column called 'Key Account' in your Excel Table Tabelle1_1, I am at a bit of a loss as to why this even works at all

Sort(
   Filter(
      Tabelle1_1.'Key Account';
      StartsWith(
         'Key Account';
         TextSearchBox1.Text
      )
   );
   'Key Account';
   Ascending
)

and this does not

Sort(
   Filter(
      Tabelle1_1;
      StartsWith(
         'Key Account';
         TextSearchBox1.Text
      )
   );
   'Key Account';
   Ascending
)

Thank You so much for your help, my boss wants excel so he gets excel 😄

I found the problem. It was because of the space between Key and Account.. I changed it to KeyAccount and now everything works out perfectly.

@carla_123 ,

A bit hard for me to pick that one - I can only use your values . . .
