Filtering Gallery not to show today`s tasks

I would appreciate some help to resolve a problem which I thought I had fixed, but haven`t.
I have 2 tables, Tasks and Records.
The Task table has LUT_Task_ID, LUT_Location, LUT_Shed, LUT_Task columns.
The Records table has LUR_LUTask_ID, LUR_Location, LUR_Shed, LUR_Task, LUR_Date columns.

When a user clicks the right arrow, this logs the relevant information into the RecordTable.

What I would like to achieve is that if a record for a task has been created today, for it NOT to show in the gallery.
When I first started, and only had 1 day of info, the following formula set on the gallery worked fine.
However, on day 2, when someone clicks the right arrow, the record does not disappear

Filter('TaskTable',
Text(LookUp(RecordTable,LUR_LUTask_ID = LUT_Task_ID,LUR_Date),DateTimeFormat.ShortDate) <> Text(Today(),DateTimeFormat.ShortDate)
&&
LUT_Location = LUP_Location_DD.Selected.Value && LUT_Shed = LUP_Shed_DD.Selected.Value)

My understanding is that this would be because the LookUp finds the first record and this not find the later.

Is there any way to modify this formula so that only tasks which don`t have a record of being done today will be displayed?
Any assistance would be appreciated.

Hi @kevinsray , I am trying to understand how your screen is designed based on your initial post.

This is what I gathered so far:

You have a Gallery that shows Tasks

You have a Table that contains Records

When the right button in the gallery (showing Tasks) is clicked the Record Table is updated.

What you want, is for the Gallery (Tasks) not to be visible if the Record Table field LUR_Date has today's date.

This is a one-to-many relationships but I am still having a hard time figuring out which one is the one and which one is the many table 1 record many tasks? or 1 task many records?

Please confirm

Eloy,

So, there will be 1 task, with many records for each task.
This is a checklist of tasks to be done daily. The users click each day to record that they have done the specific task, according to location and shed, for that day.

So, in effect, each task in the TaskTable, will over time, have many records in the RecordTable.
