Filtering LookUp Drop Down (Duplicates or Unique Values) in Model Based Driven App with Javascript Web Resources

I currently have a Model Based Driven App. In short, I have Four Lookup fields--Company, Approver, MDM, and SSC Approver--and a Web Resource that filters out the selected option for each field. However, the first Lookup field isn't filtering out the selection of companies like it's supposed to do. There are still multiple duplicate fields. (I'll explain why there are duplicate fields in a little bit). I need help filtering out the duplicate fields.
I'll start by describing each of the relevant parts of my application: its tables, the form, and finally--the web resource written in JavaScript. I have three relevant tables for the Model Based Driven App. The first is "EVR" for the forms and views from the Model Based Driven App. The relevant rows look something like this:

Company (LookUp to AB Company)| Approver (LookUp to User)| MDM (Lookup to User)| SSC Approver (Lookup to User)

The second table is "AB_Company."

The third table is merely "User" and contains the names mentioned above for the Lookup(s).

The problem that I'm facing right now is that the first Lookup features duplicate entries. As I've shown in the second table for AB_Company, the duplicates are to ensure that the multiple users are referenced to the same company by row. The duplicate entries look something like this in the model-based driven app.

With the Web-Resource, the fields for Approver, MDM, and SSC Approver are filtering the Users as expected/desired.

The question that I have before I share the code from the web resource and describe the event that triggers it in further detail is this: how do I render my JavaScript so that the first field either doesn't display the duplicate values or only shows the unique ones? I'm also open to alternative options. Here's the JavaScript code for the web resource:

Just as another frame of reference, the event occurs in the first Lookup field for "Company" under "attributeOnChange".
