ForAll and Attachments

Hi!!

I have a collection ( CList ) with a column that has a CodeNum.

I want to see all the attachments from my Sharepoint list that matches all the CodeNum from my CList.

With this formula, I was able to retrieve to my Attachment control all the columns of my Sharepoint List, except the attachments.

I guess that the formula is correct, but I can't find a way to bring the attachment's name, and be able to open the file.

ForAll( Clist ; LookUp( ShP_List ; ID = CodNum ; 'Has Attachments' ) ) --> is working (see picture)
 ForAll( Clist ; LookUp( ShP_List ; ID = CodNum ; 'Attachments' ) ) --> is not working HELPPPPP

Hi @RitabPedrosa

Attachment is a complex column in sharepoint and there are lots of limitations to handle with it.

The best workaround I came up with is to display all attachments into a nested gallery, please try this:

1. create a Main gallery, set Items property:

Filter(ShP_List, ID in Clist.CodeNum)

2. create a sub-gallery in the main gallery, set Items property:

ThisItem.Attachments

3. set the Text property of label inside the sub-gallery:

ThisItem.DisplayName

4. set the OnSelect property of sub-gallery

Launch(ThisItem.AbsoluteUri)

Hope this helps

It Works BUT only for the first 2000 records.

We have the delegation problem - Does not Assume the PTE3287/20 attachment 😞

The Main Goal is the User to be able to open the attchment.

Do you know if we can connect the Gallery a filter all the documents on the Library?

Hi @RitabPedrosa ,

The Attachments column can't be saved into collection, it's complex and special, we can only handle with it form the data source, why causes the Delegation Warning.

If the library has fewer than 2000 records, just ignore it.

If the library has more than 2000 records, there seems to be no better way. Please consider submitting a Support Ticket to Microsoft for further assistance. Get Help + Support
