## Forcing a number to have 2 decimal places. Example 5.123 to 5.12 and 6.2 to 6.20

I'm multipling alot of numbers where the answer may go out past 2 decimal places and sometimes the answer is 1 decimal place. What ever the answer is I need it to be 2 decimal places. Example...5.2 needs to be 5.20 and 5.123 needs to be 5.12. I dont care about rounding up or down. In the example below, what steps do I need to do to limit the answer to just 2 decimal places? Thanks in advance 🙂

You can do this by wrapping your formula inside a call to Text like so:

``````Text(<insert your formula here>,
"#.00"
)``````
I did have to add another "value" in the beginning of the formula but it worked. Thanks for the help.
Working formula...
Text((Value(Value(DataCardValue7.Text)*425.36+Value(DataCardValue8.Text)*309.36+Value(DataCardValue9.Text)*260.4+Value(DataCardValue10.Text)*312.15+Value(DataCardValue11.Text)*464.65+Value(DataCardValue12.Text)*470.53+Value(DataCardValue13.Text)*110.81+Value(DataCardValue14.Text)*92.1+Value(DataCardValue15.Text)*139.16+Value(DataCardValue16.Text)*325.32+Value(DataCardValue17.Text)*386.15+Value(DataCardValue18.Text)*216.29+Value(DataCardValue19.Text)*365.54+Value(DataCardValue20.Text)*105.72+Value(DataCardValue21.Text)*43.61+Value(DataCardValue22.Text)*48.55+Value(DataCardValue23.Text)*43.18+Value(DataCardValue24.Text)*45.21+Value(DataCardValue25.Text)*50.4+Value(DataCardValue26.Text)*45.74+Value(DataCardValue27.Text)*46.39+Value(DataCardValue28.Text)*49.66+Value(DataCardValue29.Text)*46.63+Value(DataCardValue30.Text)*46.7)*1.6),"#.00")
