Form Label Bug

I am building a form based on a sharepoint list.  It is a view only.  One column is a date column.  The default for thedate column is set to Parent.Default and placed in a label box.  The date is always the wrong format so change the defaults to be Text(parent.Default,"dd/mm/yyyy").  I have found this does not work on a view Form.  I have never had the problem before. on an edit form it is shown as a datepicker.  On a view form it is shown as a label box

I do a work around by placing a datepicker with the format being what I need.  When I set this to view only it shows as above but is correct now.

Is this a bug or have I done soemthing wrong?

Re: Form Label Bug

Are you setting Text(parent.Default,"dd/mm/yyyy") on the label's text property or somewhere else? I have used this exact code in the past and never had an issue.

Re: Form Label Bug

On the text property.  I have never had the issue before either and it seems to be only related to a Form created as View

I am also working in Chrome
