Form in edit and new

Hi, I need that in a form, the default mode, change from edit to new, in case a field of the form is different (example: when the client = C0001, form must create a new record, therefore in insertion, when it is different from C0001 , the form must register in modification of the same record. Would you have any suggestion? Thank you all

An alternative is to put this on OnSelect of the Submit Button to check if the number entered in the textbox or datacarvalue5 (assumed textbox change it to your actual name) exist. If it exist, it gives error message for the user to change the number otherwise allow:

If(CountRows(Filter(YourDatasource,YourNumberCulumn= DataCardValue5)) > 0,

SubmitForm(YourFormName), Notify("Number Exist! Change it",NotificationType.Error))

If you like this reply, please give kudos. And if this solves your problem, please accept this reply as the solution

Thanks for the tip, but luckily I found the solution.
