Form is stuck on "Getting your data"

I have an app that uses several sharepoint lists, including a couple to provide pick-lists for dropdowns, and also the form uses a lookup function to get a particular row from one list based on a querystring value. However, if the user doesn't have permission to the specified list item or one of the pick-lists, then the form gets stuck on "Getting your data", and the form never opens.

Is there any way to report to the user which data connection has failed?

I have added a timer control, and can redirect to another screen after x seconds, but the Errors function returns nothing, as apparently PowerApps doesn't see this as an error.

I'd like to provide a better error message to the users than "something didn't work", but I don't know how to determine which data call is the one that is causing issues.

Hi @Mike2500,

So far you cannot detect which data source has cause the error and display this information to the user. If you really need this, you could post this idea in the PowerApps Ideas forum, so it might be considered for future releases.
