Form will not reset after submit

I have multiple drop down text fields linked to a Sharepoint list in my App. Everything works fine but when I submit data that was chosen from the drop down it is still there, it dosn't reset. I've tried multiple ways to clear the data to no avail.

What I've tried:

- Adding ResetForm(EditForm1) to submit button

- Adding ResetForm(EditForm1) to Form OnSuccess

- Adding ResetForm(EditForm1) to Gallery "new Form" button

What am I doing wrong?

Re: Form will not reset after submit

Thanks but turns out I had the "DefaultSelectedItems" for the drop downs set to "Parent.Default". I set them to BLANK and seems to work fine now.

Re: Form will not reset after submit

Hi @Thuberdeau

Make sure that the Reset property of each Dropdown control is set to true in the Advanced section with the control selected.  If that doesn't work, then in the OnSuccess property of the form, you can manually reset each control.

Reset(Dropdown1);Reset(Dropdown2); etc.

Re: Form will not reset after submit

I have dealt with the drop downs but now am having issues clearing my date fields (5 of them). The fields are populated with buttons.

Button formula: UpdateContext({DateNow: Now()})

Text Field Formula: If(IsBlank(DateNow), ThisItem.'Stop Time', DateNow)

I have done the following to try to reset the form after submit without success:

- Field "reset" property set to true

- Submit button formula: SubmitForm(EditForm1);ResetForm(EditForm1);Back()

- Form OnSuccess: ResetForm(EditForm1)

Any ideas?
