Format a datacard to 2 decimal numbers

Hello,

So I have this DataCardValue which is a text input with the following details:

Default: (DataCardValue1.text*dropdown.selectedtext.value)/DataCardValue3.text

Format: number

So basically it calculates based from other fields.

I want the DataCardValue to have only 2 decimal places. How do I do it?

Thank you!

Try this,

Text(Value(DataCardValue1.text)*value(dropdown.selectedtext.value))/value(DataCardValue3.text),#.##)

Text(4/3, ".00")

This returns 1.33

Set the formula where you wish. If you are using it for display purposes only, put it on your text box.

Of course, 4/3 needs to be replaced by your calculation

Hi@CatPagulayan,

Based on the issue that you mentioned, do you want to format your DataCardValue with 2 decimal places?

Could you please share a bit more about your scenario?

I have a test on my side, please take a try as below.

Set the Default property of the TextInput  as below:

Text(
    DataCardValue8.Text * DataCardValue12.Selected.Value / DataCardValue11.Text,
    "[$-en-US]#.00"
)
