Formatting an amount using the € symbol?

I have the following column is my SP list:

Lorem1960_0-1637323628424.png

and now I am trying to format it so that the amount in my Edit Form is prefixed with the € symbol but it is not working.

I used the following formatting:  "€" & Text(Parent.Default,"0.00") but when I apply this then nothing is being displayed?

Also tried applying this format : Text(Value(Parent.Default,"€#,##0")), but no success.

What am I doing wrong here?

Hi @Lorem1960 :

First,Please clear the format property

Second, set the textinput control(DataCardValue5)'s Default property to:

Parent.Default & "€"

Finally, set the datacard's update property to:

Value(Substitute(DataCardValue5.Text,"€",""))
