Hi @karishma,

Do you want to upload a Excel file to OneDrive/SharePoint Document library using PowerApps?

If you want to upload a Excel file to OneDrive/SharePoint Document library using PowerApps, I afraid that there is no way to achieve your needs in PowerApps currently.

If you would like this feature to be added in PowerApps, please submit an idea to PowerApps Ideas Forum:

I agree with @PeteMc's thought almost, currently, we could only upload a file as a attachment of a SP list item using Attachments control within PowerApps. Please check the following for more details:

https://powerapps.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/add-attachments-to-sharepoint-lists/

More details about Attachments control within PowerApps, please check the following article:

Attachments control

As an alternative solution, you could consider take a try to achieve your needs using Microsoft Flow. I have made a test on my side, please take a try with the following workaround:1.JPG

More details about Microsoft Flow, please check the following article:

Microsoft Flow

Best regards,

Kris

The only way to upload excel files is via a SharePoint attachment, you could then have a flow or sharepoint workflow to manage the file from there: https://powerapps.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/add-attachments-to-sharepoint-lists/

There also has been an annoucement for Powerapps to browse, upload, view and manage files in sharepoint, however it is not set for release until Jan 2019: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/business-applications-release-notes/October18/powerapps/powerapps-m...

How would the UI look when it is only Flow? Smiley Sad

I am looking to allow users to upload a bunch of files add some metadata for all of them, then let Flow put the files where they should go with the metadata.

Any Ideas?

Hello @v-xida-msft ,

Sorry for bumping old thread, I am seeking for help like this one, if I could upload the excel/csv file onedrive and parse every column of excel/csv file to flow then send it out to sharepoint list using the powerapps.

so what I am trying to build is that I have this button on my powerapps which named "Import" then when I click it will request me to upload csv file then after I submitted the csv file it will be uploaded on onedrive then also will trigger a flow that will parse every column and sends the data to sharepoint list.

Thank you.

Hi!
Can you solve this? I'm trying something like that and I didn't find any answer yet.
