GAllery Filter Condition - Studio vs Live

Hello,

I am developing a scheduling app that would show the appointments for the day selected by DatePicker.

The results filter correctly in PowerAppStudio when I hit play but when saved and ran on web.powerapps.com

    I don't get any results.

This is very basic functionality that was working initially and then started not working and I am not sure why.

Here is the gallery's items function

       Filter('[dbo].[Appointments]',AppointmentType = selApptType && Active = true && ApptDate = selDate)

I am using Azure SQL as the DB

  Here are the screen shots

Re: GAllery Filter Condition - Studio vs Live

Hi @sravankcm,

Would you please share some information regarding the table you used (column defined, with the corresponding column type), and the corresponding Session ID when opening this App in Web.powerApps.com?

Session ID is available under File->Account->Session Details

I will see if I can reproduce this issue from my side.

Update:

It seems the date Picker control has been updated with some new property (DateTimeZone property), please take a try to switch it to UTC and see fi that would make any difference.

Regards

Re: GAllery Filter Condition - Studio vs Live

I am saving the Datestimes  in "UTC" but the field I am using is just "Date" . They show the correct local time on the gallery when they load.

It works on the studio not on the service. It also works when I do "Edit in broswer"

i will test further and let you know

update:

So I did Text(datefield, shortdate) = Text (selectedDate, shortdate) and this works but

I get the warning message saying this could produce sub optimal results in PowerApps Studio

Not sure if that is the best soultion.

Hi @sravankcm,

Thanks for the update and sharing.

The warning message should mean the data is shorted, which can't match a more proper results.
