GOVERNANCE: Best Practices

Hello,

How are you all locking down your environments for large user bases? As we plan our scale up model, I've been spending a LOT of time in the Administering a PowerApps Enterprise Deployment whitepaper (which is GREAT, btw).

We want to send all new users to the Default environment but CUTOFF ALL BUT A FEW connectors to this environment.  DLP rules are NOT enough. We want to, for example, completely cutoff the ability to connect to SQL or Google Sheets, etc. Unfortunately, this is not possible (!) which is very surprising and I'd say a bit alarming.

I'm very interested in how others are providing a "safe" environment for new app authors. Please provide your insights here.

Also, please consider upvoting the idea of allowing PowerApps admins to cutoff connectors for a given environment. This is an absolutely critical component of PowerApps governance.

Thank you

I agree this is sorely needed.

Hi @FlyFishFli. Please upvote the idea if you'd like to see it implemented. The "vote count" seems to be the key to getting attention to an enhancement.

Thanks!
