Gallery : Filter by date if more than 3 days

Hello ,

how do i create my browser gallery to filter by a date range.  I want to filter all 'COMAT Requests' by the date the request was created. I included the date on each card as you can see by the picture.

I am looking to filter anything that is more than 3 days old but has not moved into the completed status.

Example:

i submited a request and the status of that request is "Open" (the status can be : Open, In progress,Received,) but it is over 3 days.

I want to have the gallery show anything that is over 3 days and has the following status: Open, In progress,Received.

If the status is Complete i dont want it to show under the gallery.

This gallery only shows request that are 3 days or more.

Thank you.

Re: Gallery : Filter by date if more than 3 days

Hi @Soko19,

Could you please share a bit more about the 'COMAT Requests' data source within your app? Is it a SP list?

I assume that the 'COMAT Requests' that you mentioned is a SP list, I have made a test on my side, please take a try with the following formula:

Filter(
'COMAT Requests',
Today()>DateAdd(Created,3),Status="Open"||Status="In progress"||Status="Received"
)

Or

Filter(
'COMAT Requests',
Today()>DateAdd(Created,3),Status<>"Complete"
)

So, please modify your whole formula within the Items property of the Gallery control as below:

SortByColumns(
  Filter(
       'COMAT Requests',
        Today()>DateAdd(Created,3),Status="Open"||Status="In
        progress"||Status="Received"
        ),
"Title",
If(SortDescending1,Descending,Ascending)
)

or

SortByColumns(
  Filter(
       'COMAT Requests',
       Today()>DateAdd(Created,3),Status<>"Complete"
        )
"Title",
If(SortDescending1,Descending,Ascending)
)

Best regards,

Kris

Re: Gallery : Filter by date if more than 3 days

In your filter do add something like

And Today()>=Date+3

Where date needs to be teh colum date name

Note: if you are using SharPoin,  Operators like >< have delegation issues.  Initially that relates to 500 rows,  but you can change that to 2000 now in the experimental features. If your list gets above the 2000 this will presnt a problem
