Gallery Positioning Problem seems to be new behaviour not seen before

I am noticing a strange behavior and to confirm I created a new blank  app with a simple gallery against the left side on an tablet screen (see attached). When you render it you will notice it has a large gap. I used the existing CDS Employees Data Source. See screenshots attached. I have not seen this 'indentation' before - certainly not last week. I am puzzled.

Hi @josepower,

I noticed that too. However, it just seems be an issue in the preview mode from within the app designer. When you publish your app and access the published version, do you still see this behavior?

That is correct its only in Preview mode - but of  course that is really important for the correct design of the app. How do we proceed to get this fixed? Wonder how/why it was introduced?

Completely agree. What is your current zoom level within your designer?

60 to 65% I notice at 95% it does not happen - so this is a bug introduced in the last week or so. Where do bugs get reported or picked up?

Exactly, that's exactly what was happening with me. I would open a support ticket with Microsoft. Here is the link: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/supportrequestform/2afa6f15-b710-db46-909a-8346017c802f

Hopefully this helps.

Hi @josepower ,

Which version is your PowerApps?

Do you mean that the Gallery control could not be fit to the preview screen fully?

Based on the issue that you mentioned, I have made a test on my side, and don't have the issue that you mentioned. The screenshot as below:

5.JPG

The version of my PowerApps is 3.19113.26. Please consider set the X property and Y property of the Gallery to following:

0

set the Height property of the Gallery to following:

App.Height

then check if the issue is solved.

If the issue still exists, please consider submit an assisted support ticket through the following link:

I have version 3.19112.27 and even with setting 0,0 and app.height the preview is indented as shown in the two attached screenshots.

I am not sure how to get force make.powerapps.com to the latest version?

Unfortunately, your support link is giving me a 404 error.

Hi @josepower ,

Currently, I could not reproduce your issue on my side. Please consider capture the Session ID of your canvas app, then submit an assisted support ticket along with the Session ID for further help through the following link:
