Gallery Selected

I have a gallery which is populated with values from SQLdb. The OnSelect fires when I click on an item in the gallery. But, when the items are filtered (based on a search from aTextInput), the gallery items change and by default it selects the 1st item BUT it doen not fire OnSelect. Is there anyway to do it?

Hi @CNT ,

Could you please share a bit more about your scenario?

Do you want to fire the OnSelect property of the first Gallery item when you filter your Gallery items?

Yeah, you are right. When you filter your Gallery Items, the first Gallery Item would be selected in default. But the OnSelect property of the Gallery would only be fired when you click the Gallery Item manually.

If you want to fire the OnSelect property of the first Gallery item when you filter your Gallery items, I afraid that there is no way to achieve your needs in PowerApps currently.

If you would like this feature to be added in PowerApps, please consider submit an idea to PowerApps Ideas Forum:
