Gallery: This identifier is not recognized.

Helo People,

I'm trying to filter the gallery based on Combobox selections.  My current gallery Items property is: Filter('[discount].[TotalTuitionDiscount]',If(IsBlank(Semesterbox.Selected.Result),true,Semester=Semesterbox.Selected.Result)

With this formula, the gallery label gives me an error:  This identifier is not recognized.  and Invalid use of '.'

Where I'm going wrong?

Thanks,

Omi

Hi @omi18 ,

There are three things to look at here apart from you are missing a closing bracket

Filter(
   '[discount].[TotalTuitionDiscount]',
   If(
      IsBlank(Semesterbox.Selected.Result),
     true,
     Semester=Semesterbox.Selected.Result
   )
)

  1. '[discount].[TotalTuitionDiscount]' is the name of the Table you are filtering
  2. Semesterbox is the name of a Combo Box where the Items are a Distinct filter
  3. Semester is a Text field in '{discount].[TotalTuitionDiscount]'

Is any of this not correct?

Hi @WarrenBelz ,

My bad. It was a closing bracket.

Thanks,

Omi
