Gallery control's .Valid property

Quick question that I can't find the answer to this on this forum or in the control's documentation.

What is the use or function (if any) or even generally the expected behaviour of the Valid property of a gallery? And I do specifically mean the property *gallerynamehere*.Valid.

It's a boolean that's seems to be always set to true but it's rather hard to verify this. Does is pulse to false on a specified behaviour? Is it somehow tied to the status of the Items of the gallery? Any insight is welcome. I'm very curious.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Gallery control's .Valid property

Hi @vverb ,

Could you please share a bit more about your scenario?

Do you want to use the Valid property of the Gallery control to check if it is valid or contains valid values?

Based on the issue that you mentioned, I have made a test, and the issue is confirmed on my side. The Gallery1.Valid formula would always return true.

Actually, within PowerApps, the Valid property only be applied to Card and Edit form controls currently. Please check the following article for more details:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/canvas-apps/reference-properties#v

Currently, the Valid property has not been applied to Gallery control.

If you would like this feature to be added in Gallery control, please submit an idea to PowerApps Ideas Forum:
