Gallery items not showing after adding search box

Hi, my gallery was working fine until I added a search box to it. The purpose of the search box is to allow user to search a specific item in the gallery. When I remove the search box, the gallery was working fine again. What could be the problem?

This are the code for the gallery

Set(varProject,LookUp(Users,Name = NameO365.Text).Project);
Set(varEquip,Search(EquipmentList,varProject,"Project"));
Set(varDeptEquip,Search(varEquip,DepartmentO365.Text,"Dept"));
Set(varEquipTdy,Search(varDeptEquip,Text(Today(),"dd/mm/yyyy"),"TextDate"));
Set(varSearchEquipTdy, Search(varEquipTdy, ValuefromBarcodeScanner.Text, "Etag"))

Don't add search box in gallery directly

   First add a input box in the screen(Suppose name is "textinput1").

      Then click on gallery and in item property type

             Search('DataSource',textinput1.text,Column_Name)

Try It.

@ShrikantKore that is what i did exactly. My gallery works now even with the search box. However, it seems pretty unstable. Sometimes the gallery will show and sometimes it does not

Hi @jandywelly ,

From your code I assume you have multiple textbox values to search. Could you please also share the code in the items property of the gallery ?

@PG_WorXz10 there is only 1 textbox which is the valuefrombarcodescanner.text. The rest is to filter the data according to my requirements

Hi @jandywelly

According to your description, I think you want to display the content in the gallery after multiple filtering.

May I ask some questions?

1. what is the Gallery's items property before?

2. what is the Gallery's items property now?

3. Could you please show me a demo of your Data source?

Best Regards,

Zhi Chen
