Gallery update on sharepoint dropdown list change

Hi all,

I just started to use PowerApps to customize a data collection form on a Sharepoint.

I have a very simple issue but cannot find the way to solve it on the forum.

I have in my form a dropdown list linked to Sharepoint containting a list of document references.

I want to have a Gallery showing the list of values selected.

When a value is selected on the dropdown list, I would like to add it to a collection and then link the collection to the gallery.

Unfortunately when I map value of my dropdown list to my collection, I don't know why but it creates a table inside the collection.

My dropdown list is like this in the project

The formula set on the dropdown list to fill the collection is:

Collect(TestCollection;{FieldValue: PCD_nb.SelectedItems.Value})

It sucessfully fill the collection but in a strange way:

Then when I try to map the gallery to the collection, it fails and return empty value.

Formula for the mapping is:

FieldValue.Value

A tooltip is displayed saying: This formula uses scope, which is not presently supported for evaluation.

Thanks in advance to the person who could help me on this point!

I found out the issue.

When I change the formula on my OnChange event on the dropdown list it works:

Collect(TestCollection2;{FieldValue: PCD_nb.Selected.Value})

Then I put a Text Field in my Gallery linked to the collection TestCollection2:

ThisItem.FieldValue

And now it works 🙂
