Gateway Error - We weren't able to add this connection. Please try again

 

 I currently am trying to connect to an on premis gateway, which works in Power BI.However, in PowerApps i get the following error:

 

 

Credentials are missing or not valid.
     inner exception: The credentials provided for the SQL source are invalid. (Source at XXXXX;XXXXX.)
clientRequestId: 813134a7-ca9e-3e10-e844-65ec1592e95b

Session ID: 102b82ee-847f-c041-aa89-1940671a38a8

 

I have chosen windows authentication, as this is the typr we use to connect to the server.

Make sure that you have followed the steps the documention below:

If you still get the error, please take a screenshot of your configuration.

Its fine, I actuallt solved it just before your response. I hadnt put my domain before my username. Thank you for your response though. 

 

For anyone else who has an issue, the username needs to be in the format:

 

Domain\Username
