Gateways not showing

My Gateway is working however under data - Gateways it is showing no gateways installed.

Can somebody else please confirm as i cant add any connections to my on prem data as no gateways are listed.

We are also having the same issue which only recently started.


I have found though, if we try and create new using "Start from data", it would navigate to a connections screen on the powerapps studio which then allows us (in our case sql server connection) to create new connections and have the gateway properly show up.

This has become a larger problem now,

None of our PowerApps in production can connect using the gateways anymore even though they had been connected before.

The workaround I mentioned before does not work either.

Someone posted an answer but like I described in my question, I uninstall the gateway and installed a new way. Both the old and new gateways work with PowerBI but PowerApps just can't seem to connect at all.

Hey @v-yutliu-msft, saw your answer to another post, your solution does not work for most people here I'm guessing.

For us, our gateway is working fine with Power BI and Logic Apps, just not PowerApps or Flow.

Gateway port tests all pass and we have 2 gateways in our cluster, one main and one fallback.

I had the same issue and when checking the regions found that while our Power BI was in the Southeast Asia region, our Power Apps was in Southeast Australia.

I installed a new gateway and set the region to Southeast Australia.

The new gateway itself said Power Apps was not supported outside of the default, however, when I went into the gateways section in Power Apps I could see it and it does function correctly.

So it is worth trying setting it up this way even if the gateway says it won't work.

There is an issue.
My support ticket is still open and I have now not heard anything since Friday.
This is the latest:
Our product team is working on the issue and we are trying our best to fix this asap.

When did flow get renamed power automate? I only noticed it yesterday (maybe just me not paying attention)

I desperately need to add new databases as this is currently costing us time and money.


I think flow was renamed during Ignite (like 2 weeks ago).



Where can I find the power bi region? Right now it says default in the on-prem gateway; same w/ PowerApps, MS Flow. Logic Apps, AAS is set to UK South. 


I go into Power Apps admin, & can see my gateways & my default region at the top-right. Is this where I check the region for PowerApps & Power BI? Or do I do that somewhere else?


UPDATE: When I go into the PBI Service, click ? (at top right), & click About Power BI it indicates "Your Data is Stored in: UK South (London)." I presume that means my PBI default environment is also "UK South."


I'm uk south too...
