You are yet another victim of this bug - what mode is your form in and are the Items connected to a List?
Gives me back 0
Form is in edit mode, items are not connected to a list

You need to connect them to a List - as I said this is a bug yet to be resolved.
I tried this as well, still not working. Really crazy
It is even not working with a text input
